FIELD ASSESSMENTS AND FGDs CONDUCTED FOR AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROJECT IN MYANMAR
OIDCI President and COO Herman Ongkiko continued with his engagement as Socio-Institutional Specialist for the Agriculture Development Support Project (ADSP) in Myanmar. In November and December 2018, he was part of the Project Team that conducted field assessments and focus group discussions (FGDs) in project areas in the Mandalay Region and Bago Region.
The FGDs conducted included farm leaders, government field staff officers, and members of water groups. Field assessments were undertaken with IWUMD officials of Myanmar’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and members of water users groups.
