INTEGRATED AREA / RURAL DEVELOPMENT

OIDCI's principals have done pioneering work in enhancing and operationalizing the Integrated Area Development (IAD) concept. Veering away from the traditional sectoral and piecemeal approach to development, key professional staff and consultants of OIDCI answered the challenges of laying the framework and groundwork for an integrative system of planning and implementation that have since found replication in different models that are now charting the development works of many local government units, national government agencies and funding agencies.
