MVIS : PERCEPTION SURVEY, INTERVIEWS WITH TRANSPORT GROUPS
FOR SOCIAL ANALYSIS

Focus group discussions and key informant interviews with ten transport associations of tricycle, jeepney, bus, and taxi drivers and operators from Metro Manila and Davao City were conducted in February. Consultations with representatives from concerned national government agencies such as the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Central Office were also conducted. To represent the riding public, a perception survey was also undertaken covering 1,300 motor vehicle and non-vehicle household respondents from the National Capital Region, Davao City, and Cebu City.
