ATSP : TWO TRAINING WORKSHOPS AND A WATER UTILITY WORSHOP
CONDUCTED IN BAGUIO AND DAVAO

Thus far, two ATSP Training Workshops have been conducted – one in Mindanao and one in the Northern Philippines.

The first ATSP Training Workshop was held on August 5-9, 2013 at the Pinnacle Hotel, Davao City. Out of the 16 trained Technical Service Providers (TSP), 13 were accredited. Following the accreditation of new TSPs, the ATSP Water Utility Workshop was held on October 1-2, 2013 at the Pinnacle Hotel, Davao City. The workshop aimed to formalize the contracting of water utilities of the accredited TSPs with guidance from the NWRB and the World Bank.

The second ATSP Training Workshop (for Luzon) was held on Feb 4-7, 2014 at the Ridgewood Residence, Baguio City where 11 out of the 21 aspiring TSPs were accredited. The second batch of accredited TSPs will be matched with Luzon water utilities on April 24-25, 2014 when the second Water Utility Workshop will be conducted.
