INVEST : " LET'S TALK BUSINESS: INVEST IN BATANGAS CITY "
FORUM HELD IN MANILA

The local government and the private sector of Batangas City, together with the United States Agency for International Developent (USAID) and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham), successfully held at Hotel Intercontinental Makati last December 11, 2013, a one-day investment forum dubbed “Let’s Talk Business: Invest in Batangas City.”

During the forum, local government and private sector leaders from Batangas City presented business and investment opportunities to potential investors, consisting of representatives of foreign chambers, foreign trade attaches, and big corporations. The forum established Batangas City as a new investment hub south of Metro Manila. The forum was attended by around 240 participants coming from foreign chambers, foreign trade and commercial attaches, national business organizations, industry associations, financial institutions, national government agencies, and businessmen from Batangas and other parts of the country.

The forum was also supported by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), Investor Relations Office (IRO), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Philippine Business Bank (PBB), Philippine Savings Bank (PSB), and Security Bank. - Source: Invest Project Office
