INDIGENOUS TRIBE IN MAGUINDANAO INCLUDED IN EXTREME POOR SURVEY

The Manobo-Teduray indigenous peoples (IP) group was among the groups interviewed under the World Bank-funded “Multi-Method Survey of Extreme Poor in the Philippines”. An OIDCI Survey Team was deployed to Upi, Maguindanao in August 2015 for the survey. Social mapping, wealth ranking, household interviews, and focus group discussions were among the survey methods used.
