SURVEY ACTIVITIES FOR THE PLEDGE BASELINE SURVEY PROJECT COMPLETED

The survey activities for the Baseline Survey for the PLEDGE (or Programme for Local Economic Development through Enhanced Governance and Grassroots Empowerment) Impact Evaluation has been completed. The survey was conducted in 23 randomly selected 'control' and 'treatment' barangays in ten provinces within the six Mindanao regions covered by the Bangsamoro. Information on skill set, employment and entrepreneurial potential, and poverty and vulnerability were gathered through computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) using tablet computers. The survey involved over 2,500 individual respondents.
